Christkindlmarkt 2026: A Traditional German Christmas Market in Lake Worth

The American German Club of the Palm Beaches is bringing a traditional German Christmas market to Lake Worth this December. Christkindlmarkt spans a full weekend of shopping, authentic German food and drink, and holiday entertainment at the club's clubhouse grounds.

Shopping, Food, and Festive Cheer

The market features local vendors selling holiday gifts and traditional German merchandise, alongside festive decorations throughout the grounds. On the food side, expect classic German market fare — bratwurst, pretzels, Glühwein, and imported beers — plus live entertainment from school choirs and bands, along with folk dancing performances. Kids' activities round things out with crafts, cookie decorating, carnival rides, and playground time.

Lantern Parade and Tree Lighting

The market runs longer into the evening on Saturday, building toward a lantern parade and tree lighting ceremony around 6:30 PM. Photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Christkind, and the Grinch add to the holiday atmosphere across both days of the event.
