South Florida Curry Festival 2026 Spices Up Wynwood Marketplace

Curry gets its own dedicated day in Miami this fall when the South Florida Curry Festival returns to Wynwood Marketplace on October 3, bringing together more than 50 vendors serving bold, authentic curries and global eats from across the region's culinary traditions.

Organized by Mix Media Ent., the festival leans into competition and spectacle alongside the food: a curry cook-off pits vendors against each other, while a pepper eating contest tests attendees' own tolerance for heat. Live music, cultural performances, and a spice market bazaar round out the six-hour event.

What to Expect

With 50-plus vendors on site, this is very much a graze-your-way-through-the-afternoon event rather than a sit-down meal. Kids 12 and under get in free, and outside food and beverages aren't permitted, so plan to eat on-site.
