The Langlands family landed on North Main after moving from Southern California, where son Matthew had spent years learning to roast. Since opening in December 2024, all four of them work the shop daily: Matthew runs the roaster, his sister Rebecca and mother Annie handle the bar, and Annie does the baking too.
What sets Tselia apart is that it roasts its own coffee rather than pulling shots from someone else's beans. They blend in-house and make their syrups from scratch, including a honey lavender, a rose cardamom, and a warming mocha that carry through the drink menu, alongside loose-leaf teas and house-made pastries.
The room is part of the appeal. Two faux cherry blossom trees frame the front, and the black-and-wood interior stays calm even when Main Street outside is busy, with space to spread out at a table for solo work or a group. Reviewers single out the pour-over, worth trying for the machines alone, and mention the small touch of a sparkling water served alongside a short espresso.
