I stopped by Jadwin Gymnasium while visiting Princeton just to check it out, and I was really impressed. Even without a game going on, you can feel the tradition and history that surrounds the arena. The venue has a classic college basketball atmosphere with great sightlines and an intimate layout that keeps fans close to the action. It’s clean, well-maintained, and reflects the character of Princeton University without feeling overly commercialized. Walking around the arena gave me an appreciation for the school’s athletic history, and it’s easy to imagine how exciting it must be on game day when the student section and alumni fill the stands. If you’re touring the Princeton campus or you’re a college basketball fan, Jadwin Gymnasium is definitely worth a stop. It’s a great place to experience a piece of Princeton’s rich tradition, even if you’re just visiting for fun.
We were able to take a look in the summer when nothing was going on. Seems like a cool arena with a lot of history. All the banners are impressive!
Great place to watch a game! Clean, fun, bright! So much fun when the basketball teams are out there! Great program!
Jadwin gym is a nice facility. We went to see a basketball game and the kids had fun. My son caught a shirt when the players were introduced. We all had a great time.
Great place to see a basketball game. Comfortable seats, all with a clear view of the court. Plenty of parking in a 5-story deck that is down the street. However, there is a shuttle bus to and from Jadwin. There are two downsides: 1. There are only two small bathrooms (women and men); so don't wait until halftime to go because there will be long lines. 2. There is no elevator. So, if your seats are in the second level, be prepared to negotiate a very steep flight of stairs. On the plus side, there are several nice snack bars in the lobby area, and one near the floor-level seats adjacent to the court. Another plus:: All seats in the gym are $15 for non-university people.
