My 5-year-old has been taking lessons at Lion Fencing for the past 3 months. He loves it. The discipline, focus, and fun he has taken away from every class have resulted in an increase in his confidence. The instructors are caring, funny, and work diligently to bring out the best in each student. Everything is organized, efficient, and professional. As a former fencer, they offer an excellent fencing program that sets their students up for success. We highly recommend Lion Fencing Academy.
My son absolutely loves his fencing classes! The coach and Ms.Malini are phenomenal with young kids—incredibly patient, encouraging, and experts at turning fundamental skills into fun games.The atmosphere is encouraging and welcoming. They ensure every kid receives personalized attention, tailoring exercises to different skill levels and pacing. I've noticed a massive boost in my child's confidence, focus, and coordination.
Having tried all of the clubs in NJ, Coach Thiam is truly the best. He is extremely genuine, taking the time to create a tailored roadmap for me. He helped me become my HS fencing captain and shaped me into a great saber fencer. Even with only a few hours of training with him weekly, I was able to beat rated fencers who dedicated much more time to the sport.
My son has been fencing with Lion for over a year now. Coach Thiam is a former Olympian and an AMAZING coach for all ages and levels. Coach cares about his fencers as individuals and encourages them to excel in their physical and mental skills. He has improved my son's footwork, discipline, and strategy, making him very competitive in a short period of time. My son is winning competitions and excelling academically as well. We credit coach and the club for creating an atmosphere of excellence and fun that motivates the fencers to attain more. My son is training for short term goals and his long term goal of going to the Jr. Olympics. As a parent, we are guided in the sport, have opportunities to meet other families, and are given priceless advice to help our ypund athletes. Other clubs don't offer this amazing community and show such dedication to each individual. We are so grateful for Lion Fencing!
It has been a wonderful journey for Cayden. The coach truly goes above and beyond, teaching not only fencing, but also valuable life lessons. I’m incredibly grateful for this training and the positive impact it has had on my son. I hope he continues to challenge himself and always strive to do his best. Thank you so much!
