I only did takeout before at their original location in old town Pasadena, and the food was delicious. This food at this new location is just as good, but the aesthetic and ambiance blew me away. Only of the nicest, well decorated and beautifully designed dining spaces in Pasadena. They have a huge pond right when you walk in and an astonishing grand piano in the back. The table layout is amazing with plenty of tables in the center and private dining rooms around the perimeter. The food was very delicious and best enjoyed family style. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Celebrated my birthday with my family here! Party of 10 in private room was awesome! The food was amazing! Peking Duck, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and the Black Pepper Filet were the favorites. The soup dumplings and BBQ pork bao were great starters, but the beef rice noodle roll was my favorite appetizer. We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!

Delicious food and portions. Attentive and prompt service, there’s a beautiful Steinway Piano for live music on certain days. Free validated parking in a structure across the street for 1.5 hours. The interior is beautifully decorated and I’ll definitely come back again! Highly recommend Lunasia for Chinese food in Pasadena

I felt very lucky to snag an invite from friends to dine here on their grand opening day! The vibe is immediate as soon as you walk in, there's a big pond in the front and a grand interior with gold and earth tones. I especially loved the high ceilings and the wooden centerpiece, which is a beautiful tribute to the Altadena fire last year. Really nicely done. The Food If you’ve been to their counterpart in Alhambra, you know the deal: the dim sum is consistently good. • Appetizers: We started with the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and the xiao long bao—both were hits. • BBQ Combo: This was a massive portion! The roasted pork belly, duck, and char siu were all great, but the char siu was the standout—super tender and perfectly seasoned. • The Highlights: My personal favorite was the hot and sour soup (perfectly seasoned with a nice kick) and the French-style filet mignon, which was incredibly tender. • The Miss: The only real disappointment was the fried beef noodles. We were expecting crispy noodles, but they arrived pretty soggy. Service & Logistics The service was excellent; the staff was constantly checking in on us to make sure we were taken care of. For parking, you can usually find a spot on the street or just use the Target parking lot nearby. it was a really enjoyable evening with great ambiance. Definitely worth a visit!

Grade A (95): The food is great. The service is ok, I think they're just getting used to the new place, but they're trying hard. The filet mignon with pepper is awesome, definitely my favorite. Kung Pao Chicken is also good, parking is a bit tough, the place has been remodeled very tastefully and it's very comfortable seating, specially the large booths on the side.
