Homes By WestBay never disappoints. They truly build homes with the living in them in mind. The floorplans are functional, and the designs and embellishments one can upgrade to are vast. Kristie Parkhurst is a phenomenal agent, quite knowledgeable, and has a great personality.

Our experience with Diane was very disappointing. During our interaction, we felt we were treated differently because of our background as an Arab family. There were comments and behaviors that made us feel uncomfortable and not taken seriously as qualified buyers, despite having the financial means and being ready to move forward. We were given the impression that we did not belong in the neighborhood, which was both unprofessional and concerning. Everyone deserves to be treated with fairness and respect when buying a home. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Diane, and I would not recommend working with her.

I originally left a 5-star review, and I stand by every word I said about our sales rep, Brenna J. She is genuinely an asset to this company, attentive, knowledgeable, and a big reason we signed with West Bay. If you're working with her during the sales process, you're in great hands. Unfortunately, everything after closing has been the opposite. We closed on a ~$1M home on January 16, 2026. Within the first few months we filed more than a dozen separate warranty requests. Some were eventually resolved, but many were denied, quietly reworded, or stuck in an endless follow-up loop that feels designed to outlast the warranty period. The pattern that bothers me most is how positions change in writing. The clearest example is our garage slab: on April 3, our warranty rep confirmed in an email that the floor was an uneven concrete slab and committed to a two-step warranty repair concrete correction, then re-coating. One month later, with no new inspection findings, that same item was suddenly declined as "cosmetic" and "not warrantable" because the repair "carries a risk of further cracking." When I asked for the vendor's written report and the specific guideline being cited to justify the reversal, I got no response. The slab is uneven enough that there's now a visible gap and daylight under the garage door. A few of the other items: A TV wall outlet we paid for in our contract was never installed. The other two were. Multiple damaged and wrong-sized kitchen cabinets that West Bay's own vendor confirmed needed replacement, yet after months of follow-up, the installer showed up with only 1 of the 3 doors needed. A range hood delivered with deep scratches from installation. GE said it was installer damage and the builder's responsibility; West Bay denied it, saying it should have been caught at walkthrough. Neither side will own it. An irrigation leak near our foundation that we reported in late January and re-flagged repeatedly. Months later, the valve has been shut off and water still pools by the house. At one point the response was to ask whether it was a "maintenance issue." The recurring theme is that the burden always lands back on the homeowner to diagnose the root cause, to chase the vendor, to prove the claim, to re-litigate a decision that was already made in your favor weeks earlier. We're not alone. Other neighbors in Two Rivers describe the same warranty frustrations at this price point. The sales experience was great and the home is beautiful. But what happens when you close and actually need something fixed has been one of the most frustrating experiences we've had as homeowners. My advice: document everything at your walkthrough, photograph every defect, and keep a record of every single email. You will need all of it.
