Reviews
We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Panda Inn in Pasadena. The ambiance is beautiful, especially the striking bar area with its gorgeous backlit art pieces, making it feel like a true upscale dining experience. The Food Every single dish hit the spot perfectly. What I loved most was how they managed to elevate classic, comforting Chinese dishes—the kind of flavors you might crave from a great bento lunch—into high-quality, less oily, and much cleaner, healthier versions without losing any of the bold flavor. The Classics: The Orange Chicken had the perfect crispy-to-sauce ratio, and the Crispy Beef was delightfully sweet and savory. The Mains: The Honey Walnut Shrimp was incredibly fresh and paired nicely with melon, and the string beans were perfectly blistered and seasoned. The stone pot rice and savory lion's head meatballs in clay pot were pure comfort food executed at a high level. The Rice: Even the fried rice felt light, fluffy, and completely non-greasy. Service & Atmosphere The service was top-notch—incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast throughout the night. Our water glasses stayed full, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. One Minor Wish If I could improve just one tiny detail, it would be the white chocolate-dipped fortune cookie at the end. I would have absolutely loved a dark or milk chocolate version instead to wrap up the meal! That minor detail aside, this place is an absolute gem. Excellent food, wonderful staff, and great vibes. We will definitely be back!
OK listen up. If you can you MUST go there. It will be a total different experience from the panda Express. The food was so damn delicious. I will definitely go again! A 3 people meal will be a little over 110.00. The raspberry lemonade is a must have. The sake is a must have! John was the best server.
Flew in from Las Vegas for the day with my son for an appointment next door, and we decided to have lunch here. We ordered a few appetizers (Hot & Sour Soup, Edamame, Mu Shu, Mussels, Lettuce Wraps, Lobster & Shrimp Won Ton) to share, and my son had the Panda Inn Special. The service was amazing — very attentive and friendly. The food was great and perfect for sharing. A bit on the salty side for my taste, but my son absolutely loved it. Some of my photos may show the dishes after we had already started eating! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather — the patio area was lovely. Overall, a very nice restaurant and a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Asian cuisine.
3/1/26 Of course I always come here when I come to visit family. Came with my parents and longtime friends and had some good lunch. Ruth was our server and she was excellent. Food and Drink as also very good . Got the usual honey walnut shrimp, Kung pao chicken, pork fried rice, panda beef , & phoenix chicken. Everything was hot and delicious as usual. I will keep coming back . Enjoy !!!!
Delicious Chinese food, with great service and ambiance. We got the Panda Beef and the upside down noodles with chicken and shrimp. I also added a cup of egg- drop soup. They're always consistent with their flavors and service. Highly recommended. 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Reservations highly recommended, or else you'd either wait or sit at the bar like we did.
