On Greenville's south side, this spot works as two things at once: a taproom pouring small-batch beer made on site, and a full supply shop for anyone brewing beer, wine, or mead at home. That pairing is what sets it apart. You can come in for a pour of something new on tap, or to load up on equipment, ingredients, and a CO2 refill for a batch going in the garage, and a fair number of people do both.
It grew out of Greenville's homebrewing community back in 2015, and that maker-crowd spirit still shapes the place. There's a mug club and a garden club, and the brewing lessons run one-on-one, so you pick the style you actually want to make instead of following a set recipe. The team also makes custom wines for special occasions, and dogs are welcome inside as long as they're friendly and leashed.
What visitors write about most is the patient, old-fashioned service, the kind where someone walks you through every step and every question without rushing. The beer earns its own following too, with the IPAs, the Half Nelson among them, drawing the loudest praise in the reviews.
